Laparotomy

A laparotomy is a surgical procedure that involves making an incision (cut) into the abdominal cavity. This procedure is used to evaluate the abdominal body parts and aid in the diagnostic test of any difficulties, such as abdominal pain. In many situations, once identified, the difficulty can be corrected during the laparotomy. In some cases, a 2nd procedure is necessary. Abdominal development is another term for laparotomy.

A laparotomy is commonly carried forward to investigate abdominal pain, but the procedure may be required for a variety of reasons. The intestinal system (such as the stomach, liver, and intestines) and excretory organs are included in the abdominal organs. Our surgeon may need to perform surgery to determine the exact reason for your problem. For instance, before medication can begin, they may need to determine the consequence of internal bleeding in the digestive tract or determine where your bowel may be perforated (burst).
