Spleen Disorder

The spleen is an organ that is located just below the left rib cage. An expanded spleen, also recognized as splenomegaly, can be caused by a variety of conditions, including infectious diseases, liver disease, and some cancers. Typically, an enlarged spleen does not cause health problems. It is frequently discovered during a regularly scheduled physical examination.
